Alan Joyce (he/him) served as a Patron of Pride in Diversity during his tenure as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Qantas Group. Renowned for his leadership in transforming Qantas and expanding its presence in Asia, Alan was also a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity in corporate Australia. He played a visible and vocal role in advancing gender equity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and Indigenous education, and was recognised as a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in 2017 for his significant contributions to business, tourism, and social progress. We thank Alan for his outstanding commitment and the lasting impact he has made in championing diversity across the workplace and the broader community.

Jennifer Westacott AO served as a Patron of Pride in Diversity while leading the Business Council of Australia as Chief Executive Officer. A highly respected leader with extensive public and private sector experience, Jennifer has been a powerful advocate for workplace inclusion, mental health, and education. She has held significant leadership roles including Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney, Chair of the Western Parkland City Authority, and inaugural Chair of Studio Schools of Australia. Recognised as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2018, Jennifer has also served as Patron of the Pinnacle Foundation and Co-Patron of Pride in Diversity. We are deeply grateful for her leadership, advocacy, and enduring support of LGBTQ+ inclusion in workplaces across the nation.

Michael Kirby AC CMG brought his distinguished legacy as a High Court Justice and passionate champion for human rights to the role.
